Jai Wil, a Chicago native with a worldwide mission, has been patiently waiting to make his mark in the music industry. In 1999, he landed his first major gig, singing background for Sean “Diddy” Combs on the “Puff Daddy and the Family” tour. He had his first dose of stardom, surrounded with Bad Boy acts like Lil' Kim, Carl Thomas, Mase, and P Diddy, himself. Spending most of his musical years perfecting his craft, Jai has also taken center stage at events like "Laughing on the Lakefront", a Comedy Extravaganza at the Arie Crown Theatre, featuring Ricky Smiley, Adele Givens, Arnez J and others and performing for Project 8 & BET's Rap It Up AIDS campaign along side artists like Chingy and Ms. Prissy (from the movie "Rize"). Past experiences also include background vocals for Dave Hollister and opening for R.Kelly.
