A solid songwriter, Jazzy’s storytelling lyrics capture the art of R&B.
On Oh Jazzy tracks like “Body”, “Make Up”, “Ticket”, and “In Love” fluctuate between up-tempo to down-tempo grooves with style. Collaborating with Bobbie Cherie Griffin, Jazzy also holds songwriting credentials throughout the entire album through The Write Chix. Easy on the ears, the album opens with “Make Up”, with its strong, healthy beat and uplifting vibe. “Baby can we make up, so you can sweat off my makeup”; lyrics that bring occasional smiles throughout the refrain.
